Compact, stylish, and captivating, the Diablo Utopia EVO acoustic system embodies the traditions of the Focal company in the production of bookshelf speakers. Inspired in many ways by the Grande Utopia EM system, it features a completely new quality of bass reproduction, thanks to the 165mm driver with the patented Power Flower system and the matching phase inverter.

Installed on standard floor stands, the Diablo Utopia III EVO system captivates with its ability to reproduce mid-range and high frequencies, rich bass, and its unprecedented power.
The low- and mid-frequency range is covered by the traditional Focal driver with an amazingly light yet rigid 165mm driver consisting of two layers of glass fiber with a syntactic foam interlayer and mounted on a half-roll suspension. Another distinctive feature of the driver is its Power Flower magnetic system. Indeed, its shape resembles a flower with six petal-magnets. This design not only increases power but also better focuses the magnetic field. The basket is reinforced with six separate neodymium elements, creating a uniform and very powerful field.
The high-frequency section includes the famous IAL-2 tweeter with a beryllium inverted dome. The magnetic system is made in the form of a Laval reactive nozzle, and the volume behind it acts as a Helmholtz resonator tuned to the tweeter's resonant frequency.
The cabinet itself is designed using the same Gamma method as other Utopia models – it takes into account the distribution of vibrations and distributes them along the curved walls' cross-section to minimize their impact on sound. The cabinet is made of MDF panels, with a thickness of up to five centimeters in certain areas. At the bottom of the front panel, there is a slotted bass-reflex port.
