Diablo Utopia EVO Acoustic System
The compact, stylish, and captivating Diablo Utopia EVO acoustic system embodies Focal's traditions in manufacturing bookshelf speakers. Inspired by the Grande Utopia EM system, it delivers a completely new quality in bass reproduction, thanks to a 165mm driver with a patented Power Flower system and a matching phase inverter.

Mounted on standard floor stands, the Diablo Utopia III EVO system dazzles with its ability to reproduce mid and high frequencies, rich bass, and unprecedented power.
The low and mid frequency range is taken care of by Focal's traditional driver with an amazingly lightweight yet rigid 165mm driver, consisting of two layers of fiberglass with a syntactic foam layer and attached to a half-roll surround. Another distinctive feature of the driver is its Power Flower magnetic system, shaped like a six-petal magnet flower. This design not only increases power but also better focuses the magnetic field. The basket is reinforced with six individual neodymium elements creating a uniform and powerful magnetic field.
The high-frequency section features the famous IAL-2 tweeter with a beryllium inverted dome. The magnetic assembly is made in the form of a Laval reactive nozzle, while the volume behind it acts as a Helmholtz resonator tuned to the tweeter's resonance frequency.
The cabinet is designed using the same Gamma method as other Utopia models, which considers vibration distribution and minimizes their impact on sound by distributing them across the curved walls. The cabinet is made of 5cm thick MDF panels, with a slotted port on the front panel.
