What are the advantages of the L-shaped balanced 4.4mm connector?
Most headphone cables with a 4.4mm connector have straight plugs, but not everyone prefers to use them this way. The process of making a straight plug is relatively simple, with assembly completed by securing the plug in a threaded hole. However, if it is in the shape of an L-plug, the cable must be handmade as twisting the wires cannot be done by machines. Additionally, assembly is complicated due to the increased number of parts in the plug housing.
Furthermore, plug protection can only be done after soldering to ensure even connection of the four-wire conductors before inserting them into the metal shell using four separate processes. Finally, once the 4.4mm plug is securely installed, wire braiding can be started.

The Nyx headphone cable's shielding layer is fully connected to the 4.4mm plug and the 0.78mm tip contact housing. When connected to a 4.4mm output device, the shielding layer and device housing can be completely grounded, significantly reducing signal interference.
