Efficient Construction

The M-5000 features a carefully designed, fully symmetrical construction where the left and right channels are physically isolated and separated into separate electrical circuits. The intentional layout of components minimizes signal path, reducing energy loss and providing the low impedance needed for high-quality reproduction.

Symmetrical Power Amplifier with "Floating" Power Sources and Field-effect Transistors

Unlike traditional amplifiers where power is supplied through a high-power transistor with the negative connected to ground, the M-5000 is directly connected to each positive and negative side of the output stage. Complete isolation of the power amplifier circuit eliminates unwanted effects of voltage fluctuations and ground noise.

Reinforced Frame Structure with Mechanical Grounding Concept

The M-5000 amplifier is designed for maximum rigidity to reduce unwanted vibrations and ensure optimal sound reproduction. The mechanical grounding concept, attaching the power transformer, blocking capacitors, and heat sink directly to the sturdy structure with bolts, supports components and eliminates vibration interference.

Large Low-Impedance Toroidal Transformer

The massive toroidal transformer in the M-5000 contributes to high-quality sound reproduction with a 3mm thick brass base suppressing vibrations. Copper wires from the core windings reduce impedance, significantly reducing energy losses compared to traditional designs.

Thick Power Cables and Screw Connections

Thick power cables and screw connections in the M-5000 amplifier reduce impedance, minimizing energy losses that typically occur in traditional connections and wiring.

Specially Designed Feet

Brass screws and terminals positioned directly on blocking capacitors, not spikes, provide secure low-impedance connections. Original brass feet act as fully supportive devices and can be combined with pads to protect delicate surfaces from scratches.

Large precision level indicators on the front panel of the M-5000 amplifier allow listeners to visually monitor music dynamics. The high-quality indicators with 7mm thick Asahi glass complement the luxurious and exceptionally elegant appearance of the M-5000 amplifier.
