Amplifier with balanced connections and "floating" power
The C-5000 features balanced transmission with discrete cascade construction at all signal path stages in bypass tone controls mode. The patented design is employed in the input amplifier cascade with phono equalizer and the linear amplifier, eliminating ground noise interference on the signal.
Symmetrical circuit in the form of a "book turn"
The "book turn" printed circuit board design for the preamplifier incorporates mirrored signal paths for the left and right channels to ensure precise matching and alignment of their characteristics. As both channels are physically identical, the C-5000 can reproduce sound width and depth most accurately. Furthermore, connecting other components minimizes buzz from parasitic grounding.
Two toroidal transformers
The use of two independent toroidal transformers for the left and right channels ensures optimal separation for precise reproduction of recorded sound space. Low magnetic dispersal reduces negative effects on the audio signal. After thorough research and testing, the power transformer is encased in a copper-coated housing to suppress magnetic flux and vibrations. This housing also helps reduce the impact of flux on the phono equalizer, resulting in more accurate signal reproduction for a smooth, airy, and immersive sound.
Low impedance design
The copper-coated housing minimizes voltage influence on the device's electronics, allowing the C-5000 to deliver powerful bass and subtle sound nuances. Thick cables and screw terminals are used to reduce power source impedance and maximize sound data transmission.
Original design
The C-5000 preamplifier is designed from scratch to evoke unmatched sensations, including aesthetically pleasing aesthetics and tactile materials. The front panel features original design knobs and switches that combine innovation and manufacturing expertise. The heavy-duty and high-precision volume control design includes ball bearings and meticulously crafted aluminum. The switches are also optimized for ease of use.
Specially designed feet
Every detail is considered in the development of the flagship C-5000 amplifier, showcasing high craftsmanship dedicated to achieving the highest sound quality. The sturdy brass feet, similar to those on the M-5000 model, provide full support and can be used with pads to protect delicate surfaces from scratches.
