German company Neumann has released a series of compact systems optimized for working with instrumental sound at very close distances. The new Miniature Clip Mic System is based on a complex set of improvements to the original electret circuit and utilizes manufacturing technologies of a completely new level.
The new microphone capsule KK 14 captures the finest details of instrument sound much more effectively than any other solutions. At the same time, it is much simpler and more stable in operation and, unlike outdated electret systems, does not require constant monitoring of sound quality. Thanks to the modern modular design, the KK 14 not only provides the highest precision and sound stability, but also stands out for its exceptional durability and ability to function flawlessly for a very long time, including in the harsh conditions of live music concerts.
The Miniature Clip Mic System is designed with nine installation options, which allows for the microphone to be properly installed and work with the instrument safely in almost any situation.
Neumann KK 14 delivers sound with the highest quality, for both very quiet and very loud musical instruments. With minimal self-noise and no loss even at extremely high sound pressure levels, up to 152 dB.
Furthermore, despite its impressive capabilities, the new electret microphone system is modular, lightweight, compact, and very durable. The KK 14 capsule is housed in a well-protected titanium body and is assembled exclusively by hand. If necessary, the KK 14 can be quickly and easily removed (unscrewed) from the gooseneck, and all other elements of the system can be disassembled and reassembled just as easily.
