Moondrop has managed to create a well-thought-out product for their first self-made earphones while giving it a signature, unique sound pattern.
Features:
- Moondrop's own unique earphone design;
- Driver size: 50mm;
- Frequency range: 20 Hz – 40000 Hz;
- Impedance: 64 Ohms;
- Sensitivity: 110 dB.
Through finite element analysis-based modeling, Moondrop optimized the internal magnetic circuit of their 50mm driver, with a magnetic flux density of one Tesla. The composite diaphragm with a dome and metal coating is suspended in a flexible damping ring to enhance sound quality.
The MoonDrop VOID has a frequency range from 10 Hz to 80 kHz, but the manual specifies an effective range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Its drivers are tuned according to HRTF or Head Related Transfer Function, which determines how sound is perceived by the ear.
The ear cups rotate freely until they reach the lower limit or the silicone insert on top, which prevents the cups from colliding with the swivel. The Void ear pads are removable and can be easily removed with four latches inside each cushion. It is possible to place the pads incorrectly, so make sure the thinner side is facing forward.
The excellent performance of the Moondrop VOID has been recognized by experienced audiophiles and professional musicians, and its sound quality meets not only the demanding requirements of music lovers but also the needs of specialized monitoring in professional music production.
The headphone design is lightweight but guarantees reliability, durability, and comfort. It provides excellent wearing comfort and can be easily used at home or on the go.
