Product Description

Moondrop Quarks Earphone Closed Anterior Cavity Micro Dynamic Driver IEM Earphone.

Key Features:

  • Unique design with fully transparent and small shell, exquisite and full of geek flavors.
  • Powerful 6 mm composite magnetic micro diaphragm dynamic driver.
  • Improved CCAW coil.
  • Unbelievable amplitude frequency response curve.
  • Industrial design.
  • Patented anti-blocking sound damping + Double damping structure.

The Moondrop Quarks earphone features an unbelievable amplitude frequency response curve that provides excellent performance with a closed structure. Its frequency response curve is highly in line with HRTF (head related transfer function), creating a natural and open sound field. The moderate bass gain enhances the musicality of Quarks, producing a fuller ambience sound.

The industrial design of Quarks showcases meticulousness and compact size, with the fully transparent cavity allowing for a clear view of the driver and acoustic structure. The unique appearance adds to its charm.

Patented anti-blocking sound damping + Double damping structure

Quarks is equipped with a second-generation patented anti-blocking sound damping in the front cavity, enhancing durability and reducing blockage due to earwax. The double damping structure, using materials with different acoustic resistance characteristics, filters mid and high frequencies to deliver a smooth response and natural sound.

The powerful 6mm composite magnetic micro diaphragm dynamic driver of Quarks provides excellent dynamics, lower distortion, and boosted bass. The diaphragm, made of high-performance polymer material, is adjusted for linear distortion performance.

In the Box:

  • In-ear headphone with mic.
  • Manual.

Headphone type

Over-Ear (cover the ear completely), on-ear (pressed against the ear), in-ear (inserted into the ear canal) or earbuds (inserted into the auricle, but not inserted into the ear canal).

Glossary of terms
wired
The lowest frequency, Hz
4
The highest frequency, kHz

The upper limit of the frequencies reproduced by the device. The human ear hears the standard frequency range: 20 Hz – 20000 Hz.

Glossary of terms
43
Impedance, Ohms

No higher than 32 Ohms for smartphone headphones. When using a good player or amplifier, it can be up to 100 Ohms. For stationary models you should coordinate the impedance with the amplifier power

Glossary of terms
16
Headphone sensitivity, dB

More sensitive headphones will play louder than headphones with less sensitivity (with the same signal level and resistance)

Glossary of terms
116
Driver type

Most of the headphones are dynamic but there are electrostatic, isodynamic, etc.

Glossary of terms
dynamic

Dynamic drivers use a circuit with a fixed magnetic system, in the gap of which a movable sound coil connected to a diffuser is placed.

Number of drivers

The number of drivers in each headphone. However, quantity does not equal quality. Driver coordination, their configuration, correct crossover, sound bores affects the sound

Type of acoustic design

Open (with no insulation) or closed (passive noise insulation) or semi-open (intermediate version). Open headphones sound more airy and provide a wide stage, closed ones provide noise isolation and amplify low frequencies.
