    Description

    Description:

The Klipsch The Nines speakers are designed in a neat retro style and come with removable grilles with magnetic mounts. They feature a 1-inch LTS compression tweeter with linear-travel suspension technology and a titanium dome. The tweeter is housed in the signature Tractrix horn, ensuring precise directivity and detailed sound. Handling the mid/low-frequency range is an 8-inch driver with a long-throw fiber composite woofer.

    Features:

    • Speakers: 1 tweeter with a titanium dome, 1-inch diameter (25.4 mm), Tractrix horn, 1 low-frequency driver, 8-inch diameter (20.3 cm).
    • Frequency Response: 34 Hz to 25 kHz.
    • Sensitivity: 115 dB.
    • RMS Power: 240 W (2 x 120 W - low: 80 W / high: 40 W).
    • Peak Power: 480 W.
    • Bluetooth 5.0.

The active speakers feature low-noise Class D amplifiers, providing 120 W per channel (bi-amping connection, two 80-watt amps for mid/low drivers and two 40-watt amps for tweeters). The passive speaker is connected to the active one using a special cable with 4-pin connectors. The Klipsch The Nines include an MM phono preamp for connecting turntables, a high-performance DSP processor, dynamic bass EQ for bass enhancement, and a DAC supporting PCM up to 24 bit/192 kHz via USB input. The model also comes with a Bluetooth receiver supporting AAC and aptX HD codecs for wireless audio streaming from Bluetooth devices.

For connecting portable sources, there is a 3.5 mm Aux jack. There is an optical input and a USB port for connecting to a computer. An active subwoofer can also be connected to the Klipsch via the Sub Out output, and a small standard remote control is provided for remote management of the speaker system.

The cabinet features a rear-firing phase inverter port with a Tractrix horn-shaped output tube. There are two finishes available (natural walnut veneer or matte black surface). The active speaker's top panel integrates two miniature metal "wheels" for volume adjustment and source selection.
