Description

Scarlett 4i4 is an advanced third-generation audio interface designed for sound engineers and producers who want to efficiently configure their equipment for any task. Take your creative potential to a new level with its four inputs and four outputs, allowing you to simultaneously record microphone signals, instruments, synthesizers, and drum machines with the highest possible quality. Equipped with high-quality 24-bit AD-DA converters with a 192 kHz sample rate, Scarlett provides the same professional sound quality as all third-generation devices in the lineup. The 4i4 audio interface is equipped with two of Focusrite's best third-generation Scarlett microphone preamps with the Air mode, which replicates the effect of the original ISA microphone preamps, providing a brighter and more open sound for vocals or acoustic instruments during recording.

The two instrument inputs, conveniently located on the front panel, allow recording guitars and bass guitars without clipping or distortion. With the four flexible line inputs, two of which are located on the front panel (equipped with gain control), and the other two on the rear panel (with fixed line sensitivity), you can record signals from four mono sources or two stereo sources, such as synthesizers or drum machines, with exceptional clarity and transparency.

The pair of virtual loopback inputs allow capturing stereo signals from any hardware input and software channels, facilitating podcasting, live streaming, and sampling tasks. Scarlett 4i4 is designed for intensive use in challenging conditions, connects to a Mac® or PC computer using a standard USB cable, and does not require an external power supply. The package includes all the necessary software for operation: two full-featured digital audio workstations (Ableton® Live Lite™ and Pro Tools® First Focusrite Creative Pack), Softube's Time and Tone Bundle, Focusrite's Red Plug-in Suite, and a choice of one of the four virtual keyboards from XLN Audio's Addictive Keys group.
