The TAM tweeter with an inverted M-shaped dome ensures extreme clarity and accuracy of the upper frequencies, as well as high-quality sound during extended listening sessions. The midrange speaker, also utilizing Slatefiber technology, delivers expressive and neutral sound reproduction. The angled legs of the speaker system provide Time Alignment, centering the soundstage on the listener for a deeper and more emotional sound experience.
The Slatefiber technology, an exclusive development by Focal in France, involves the use of non-woven recycled carbon fibers sandwiched between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. Engineers at Focal aimed for perfection by employing unidirectional carbon fibers to achieve even greater rigidity, improved damping, and lightweight - three essential components of a good speaker system.
The tweeter, manufactured in France at Focal's laboratories, features an inverted dome made of an aluminum-magnesium alloy with the famous "M" profile characteristic of Focal products. This profile increases the tweeter's rigidity, reduces distortions, and provides a wider sound dispersion angle, resulting in refined high frequencies.
The Vestia speaker systems come equipped with a front vent for enhanced frontal impact and a rear vent for immersive bass - a bass reflex profile that enhances the depth of the soundstage.
The Focal Vestia N4 speaker system is recommended for rooms from 25 m²; even more power and enveloping bass velvetiness can be achieved by connecting the SUB 600P subwoofer.
