Sopra №2 - modern acoustic system that combines dynamics, organization of sound space, and richness of harmonics. The 3-way floor-standing model Focal Sopra №2 takes the second step in the Sopra series, with slightly smaller dimensions of the cabinet and bass driver caliber compared to the flagship of the lineup.

The Focal Sopra №2 speaker system is equipped with a 27mm tweeter which has a very rigid ultra-lightweight concave dome coated with beryllium. The tweeter is housed in a module made of a strong damping material - thermolit polyurethane. The module integrates a back chamber shaped like a reverse horn (IHL technology). The chamber absorbs waves emitted by the rear side of the dome membrane, minimizing distortion and reducing the resonant frequency. As a result, it guarantees clean sound with excellent dynamics and high resolution. A mini grille is used to protect the tweeter, and the module's rear is also covered by a metal grille.
The Focal Sopra №2 utilizes a pair of 180mm woofers providing deep, well-controlled bass. The woofers have W-cones consisting of a layer of special foamed material reinforced on both sides with thin layers of fiberglass. This lightweight sandwich construction achieves high rigidity and improves internal damping. The NIC technology stabilizes the magnetic field in which the coil is located, increasing dynamics and reducing distortion. A slightly forward-tilted upper part of the cabinet houses a 165mm midrange driver with a similar W-cone and NIC technology. The suspension of the midrange driver has integrated mass dampers (TMD technology) that eliminate parasitic resonances resulting from membrane movement.
The module with the integrated tweeter provides a slight forward tilt to the upper part of the speaker, while the lower part of the column is slightly tilted back. This ensures that all the driver waves reach the listening area simultaneously (Focus Time technology). The thick 69mm front panel of the speaker has a sandwich structure, improving damping. The sides are non-parallel, and in the lower part of the cabinet, there are Helmholtz resonators to address internal standing waves. The ported bass reflex is integrated into the speaker's base of tempered glass with built-in adjustable stainless steel spikes.
The Focal Sopra №2 speakers feature a modern ergonomic design and are available in gloss lacquer or natural veneer finishes. The model is ideal for rooms up to 30 square meters and can easily handle spaces up to 70 square meters.
