The Aria SR 900 2-way bipolar acoustic system with immersive sound blends seamlessly with other speakers in the Aria range. Designed with special attention to tonal consistency, it delivers a uniform soundstage in various configurations of surround sound systems.
The extensive Aria range allows for a wide variety of configurations for multi-channel systems in rooms of any size. The SR 900 speaker is a key element in a multi-channel system, providing perfect harmony between sound and visuals. The Flax composite drivers significantly enhance dialogue clarity and natural sound reproduction.
When paired with a pair of Aria 936 speakers, the Aria CC 900 center speaker, and the Sub 1000 F subwoofer, the Aria SR 900 forms a balanced system with exceptional sound quality as part of a 5.1 surround system.
Poron Suspension for Comfortable Highs
We have implemented two significant improvements to our aluminum-magnesium tweeter in the TNF (Tuned Mass Damper) tweeter. The dome suspension is made of Poron, a memory foam material also used in the renowned Utopia Beryllium tweeter. This reduces distortion by three times in the 2-3 kHz range, where the human ear is most sensitive. The spatial characteristics of the inverted dome and low directivity already exceed conventional domes used by our competitors, guaranteeing an incredibly wide soundstage and making the listening position less critical.
Original FLAX Cone
Focal has been producing speakers with the sandwich Flax cone in France since 2013. This original design offers exceptional acoustic characteristics, featuring a high-quality flax fiber core sandwiched between two thin layers of fiberglass. The FLAX cones deliver a natural sound with minimal coloration, rich midrange reproduction, and punchy bass. The lightweight fiber provides high internal damping, speed of movement, and bending stiffness. Due to its hollow structure, flax is half the weight of fiberglass while maintaining high bending stiffness. The compact design of the SR 900 makes them easy to integrate into your interior, with wall-mounting brackets included.
