In these scenarios, the speaker can deliver surround sound effects or even be part of a multi-channel system like 5.1, 7.1, 5.1.2, etc. The natural and clear sound of the speakers perfectly emphasizes the voices of performers or dialogues in movies.

The 100 ICW 5 wall/ceiling speaker is the entry-level model in the company's 100 Series lineup. It is discreet and offers a very good size-to-performance ratio. This speaker with two separate bands consists of a 130mm Polyglass woofer and a tweeter with an inverted dome made of aluminum-magnesium alloy.
The Polyglass technology, exclusive to Focal, involves applying microspheres of melted glass to a cellulose pulp cone. This process combines the excellent damping of paper and the stiffness of glass. The stiffness exceeds even that of a single-layer Kevlar and is almost ten times greater than that of polypropylene.
The adjustment of the mass/stiffness/damping ratio ensures exceptional linearity of the frequency response curve, all thanks to the unique cone design. This innovation also greatly enhances image clarity in the midrange.
