FiiO Q7 - The Unparalleled Flagship USB DAC/Amplifier by FiiO

The FiiO Q7 is a flagship USB DAC/amplifier that is based on the successful architecture of the M17, FiiO's flagship digital audio player. It features premium-class components such as the ES9038PRO DAC, THX AA788+ circuitry with two amplifiers, the latest 16-core XMOS XU316 receiver, the latest Qualcomm QCC5124 Bluetooth chipset, and other enhancements. The FiiO Q7 delivers exceptional performance thanks to its flagship-class audio circuitry.

Not just portable, but also transportable

The FiiO Q7 pushes the boundaries of portable devices. It is a high-performance device that has a dual power design. Owners can use it with the built-in battery or connect it to a DC power source to take its performance to a whole new level. It has various input options, including USB Type-C, coaxial, optical, and Bluetooth, allowing it to connect to a wide range of signal sources.

Flagship Sabre DAC ES9038PRO chipset

The FiiO Q7 is built around the flagship 32-bit Sabre ES9038PRO chipset. It provides extremely clean audio signal decoding, offering best-in-class ultra-low distortion and noiseless sound decoding.

Latest generation XMOS USB processor

The FiiO Q7 utilizes the latest 16-core XMOS XU316 USB receiver chipset. This allows the Q7 to decode high-resolution 32-bit PCM and DSD audio.

Incredibly powerful dual-circuit THX amplifier output

The FiiO Q7 has the power of desktop amplifiers, capable of driving even the most demanding headphones with ease. It is based on two THX AA788+ circuits, providing an output power of up to 3000mW. The FiiO Q7 has five levels of amplification. It is worth noting that after activating the DC power supply in "super big ear" mode, the output power is increased by 100% to 3000mW.

Wireless capabilities

The FiiO Q7 supports high-resolution Bluetooth connection with the latest QCC5124 chipset from Qualcomm. It supports high-resolution wireless codecs, including LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and more.

The FiiO Q7 is equipped with multiple headphone output jacks, including 3.5mm, 6.35mm, 2.5mm balanced, and 4.4mm balanced. With its five levels of amplification, you can connect highly sensitive IEMs to power-hungry headphones.

In portable mode, it is powered by a 9200mAh battery, providing up to 1500mW of high output power and ensuring consistent high-quality sound when running on battery power.

The FiiO Q7 uses an updated version of Feiao's proprietary OS: the Digital Audio Center, which includes clock frequency management, USB decoding, and SPDIF decoding. The device is powered by a Cortex M4 processor for efficient digital audio processing. At the same time, the digital and analog parts are designed with separate boards, each equipped with a display that takes the listening experience to a new level.

Power output

This is the useful power developed by the amplifier in the load resistance. Amplifiers are usually characterized by the highest power that can be obtained at the output, provided that the distortion does not exceed the specified permissible value. This power is called the output power of the amplifier.
