Edge Note is an excellent solution for recording a wide range of musical instruments.
Sound engineers looking for a highly flexible modeling microphone with impressive recording capabilities should consider the Antelope Edge Note - a small-diaphragm condenser modeling microphone that includes over a dozen classic microphone models suitable for studio and live sound.
Features:
- Emulation of famous microphones
- High-pass filter switchable at 75 Hz/115 Hz
- Attenuator switchable at -10 dB/-20 dB
One of the key features of this microphone is the emulation of well-known microphones such as DPA 4006A, Neumann KM 184, Sennheiser E 914, AKG D112 MKII, and others. They can be used with any Antelope interface through Synergy Core processing.
Microphone modeling technology reproduces the sound of classic microphone models either within your DAW (digital audio workstation) or using FPGA processing inside the Antelope audio interface (in real time).
The Edge Note features electret coating on the rear membrane. The built-in attenuator operates at 0, -10, and -20 dB, and the cutoff frequency can be set at 75 or 115 Hz. The microphone comes in a black matte metal body and includes a shock mount to eliminate mechanical noise.
