468 copper wires with soft PVC insulation
Moondrop consists of 468 high-purity 4N copper wires in a Litz coaxial braid. To ensure high-quality signal transmission through the cable, they used a strict construction with high-voltage 500D fiber, TPE coating, and soft PVC insulation coatings. The cable does not have issues like microphonic effect, ensuring high quality performance. The PVC outer insulation layer also makes the cable soft to the touch.
Stainless steel housing, CNC machined
The metal components of the Moondrop Board II cable have an elegant design and stainless steel shielding. Precision CNC machining around the terminal blocks, connectors, and Y-splitter. They not only provide a rich appearance but also have a durable construction, increasing the cable's longevity. The cable connectors are made of high-quality brass with 24 karat gold plating.
Reinforced p-pin connectors
The Board II cable comes with reinforced 2-pin p-pin connectors with a diameter of 0.78mm, made by pressure casting. It is designed specifically for Moondrop devices, but also supports IEMs from other brands with 2-pin connectors of 0.78mm diameter.
