It combines the functionality and technology not only of the renowned XDSD but also xcan, improved and redesigned in all areas to create the most complete DAC / portable atrial equipped amplifier on the planet.

Key Features:

  • Portable and compact headphones amplifier;
  • Three dedicated stages: Bluetooth, DAC and amplifier, optimized for maximum performance;
  • Ultra resolution PCM up to 32 bits / 768 kHz through USB (192 kHz through optics / coaxial);
  • Native DSD (up to DSD512) and full MQA decoding up to 384kHZ ON POWERFUL 16 - core XMOS processor;
  • Complete MQA decoding (up to 384 kHz);
  • Bluetooth 5.1+ Module Advanced 96 KHz with QCCS100 chipset;
  • Admit Bluetooth HD formats, including APTX HD, APTX Adaptive, LDAC and HWA / LHDC.

The DAC portion of this unit supports most HD audio formats. It decodes MQA, PCM up to 768 kHz, DSD up to 512 kHz, DXD up to 768 kHz via the USB connection, and via S/PDIF supports PCM up to 192 kHz and DoP—and that is just the wired formats. You also get support for regular aptX, aptX Low Latency, aptX Adaptive and aptX HD, along with LDAC, HWA/LHDC, ACC, and the standard SBC.

Using the latest QCC 5100 series Bluetooth v5.1 as the starting point, for wireless connectivity, the xDSD Gryphon is at the bleeding-edge when it comes to the latest formats: aptX Adaptive and aptX HD, LDACTM and HWA/LHDC, regular aptX and aptX Low Latency, AAC, SBC.

With technology like: XBass and xSpace settings, PureWave balanced circuit design with OptimaLoop multi - path feedback and an ultra-low noise, 1000mW high power amplifier you can listen to your music with smoother, cleaner, playback.

XBass II reinstates the missing bass from open-backed headphones or for recordings that you hanker for bass slam. Under XBass II you can select ‘Bass’ and/or ‘Presence’ so that the upper midrange frequencies are correctly added back into your favourite recording. iEMatch – is proprietary tech which reduces the annoying hiss from high-sensitivity headphones without losing any dynamic range. With digital sources, users can choose between three bespoke digital filters via the on-screen menu: Bit-Perfect, Standard and GTO (Gibbs Transient Optimised), each having a fine-tuning effect on sound.

Military Grade Aluminum makes up a sturdy and sleek exterior whilst the state of the art SilentLine OLED display finishes off one of our most attractive products yet. With eight hours of battery life, and so much versatility, there is always going to be room for this product in your digital life to listen to music your way. iFi is known for their DACs and the xDSD Gryphon is a big reason why.
