The Antelope Edge Quadro is the most advanced modeling microphone from Antelope Audio, equipped with two large dual-membrane capsules and a rotating head. Emulation and Processing
Independent data processing with four transmission channels allows recording in M/S, X/Y, Blumlein, and 3D formats. The microphone head rotates silently even during recording, creating a stunning stereo panorama. Eleven types of emulations of world-renowned microphones are available for download to Antelope Audio Edge Quadro owners. For each head, you can choose your own polar pattern and modeling type, allowing you to achieve a unique, unmatched sound.
The Edge Quadro boasts an extensive and constantly expanding library of classic microphone emulations, with 18 legendary microphone models available. The intelligent control panel allows users to simultaneously select two different emulators, one for each capsule.
Capsule Features
The Edge Quadro capsules provide a new level of precision and customization options. The top capsule can be rotated silently, even while the microphone is in use. Each Quadro capsule can also operate in all possible polar patterns (cardioid, figure-8, omnidirectional, and all intermediate patterns between them).
