HeadMade SS Headphone Cable Series
All cables are handmade using high-quality materials. American acoustic silver 686 alloy consists of 68.6% silver with the addition of other colored and precious metals (gold, platinum, etc.) and Oyaide copper. Oyaide copper, 99.9999999% pure, with 60 strands of 0.016 mm each (grade of copper 102SSC), undergoes an additional purification process and triple surface polishing of the strands. The elastic silicon-ceramic braid gives the cable remarkable flexibility and softness.
Each conductor in the SS-20 cables consists of 42 silver strands with a cross-section of 0.18 mm and Oyaide copper (99.9999999% pure) with 60 strands of 0.016 mm (produced exclusively to our order). The total number of strands in the cable is 408.
Composition:
Conductors are braided in standard acoustic braiding, in a triple braided nylon braid of American production. The triple braid nylon - Multifilament significantly enhances the mechanical protection of cables during constant use even in extreme conditions. Gold-plated standard headphone connectors are used. For some headphone models, upon the customer's request, HI-End connectors from Nobunaga Labs or Oyaide can be installed at an additional cost. The connector for connection to the amplifier is a 3.5 mm silver and rhodium alloy.
