Description

The M2 microphone is a concert condenser microphone that has been developed from the highly acclaimed S1 model. While it is primarily designed for vocals, it also offers exceptional versatility for other applications. The M2 features a supercardioid pickup pattern, a frequency range of 35Hz to 20kHz, requires 48V power, has a miniature diaphragm, utilizes a pressure gradient, and comes with a solid base. The microphone has low self-noise, excellent noise rejection, and is protected against radio interference. It also includes a switch with a lock function.

As mentioned before, the M2 has a robust all-metal body that significantly enhances its durability. It comes with an official 10-year warranty, which can be obtained by registering the microphone on the manufacturer's website. Additionally, the package includes a RM1 stand mount and a ZP1 protective pouch.

Impedance, Ohms

No higher than 32 Ohms for smartphone headphones. When using a good player or amplifier, it can be up to 100 Ohms. For stationary models you should coordinate the impedance with the amplifier power

Microphone polar pattern

Omnidirectional, cardioid and supercardioid. It determines the sensitivity of the microphone to sound relative to the direction or angle, i.e. shows how well the microphone "hears" sound from different sides

Glossary of terms
supercardioid

The polar pattern of the microphone, which picks up the sound from the front and partially from the back.

Microphone type
condenser

A metal membrane consisting of plates (a condenser) oscillates under the influence of sound air flows converting a sound wave into an electromagnetic one.
