Attention to Detail Every detail of the Pro iDSD has received meticulous attention. Classic tube circuits have been combined with cutting-edge 21st-century technology to provide superior sound quality. Inside the chassis, there are Burr-Brown DSD/DXD DACs, with four chips per channel. All signal paths to the DAC pass through a precision clock generator with low jitter, similar to the one used in the company's flagship AMR DP-777.
DSD1024 Format Support For the first time in a mass-market product, the Pro iDSD features "Studio Grade" components. Now you can listen to all your music in DSD1024 format, like in a recording studio, and enjoy the ultra-high resolution it provides. The device utilizes a MultiBit DAC as its core, along with an FPGA Crysopeia for processing DSD1024 audio format.
Best with USB The Pro iDSD is equipped with a new USB processor, the XMOS XU216 X-Core 200, with a maximum power of 2000 MIPS. All digital information is processed in "Bit-Perfect" mode without resampling, unless digital filters are applied. It can decode signals from all USB inputs (up to 768 kHz/DSD512), as well as AES/EBU or S/PDIF inputs.
High-End Connectivity The Pro iDSD offers various digital filters, including a "NOS" mode without digital filtering. All inputs (including USB) are galvanically isolated, and the USB input has independent power. The SPDIF inputs utilize technology based on the AMR DP-777 flagship, including a new chip and clock generator. The device also features a Femto Precision GMT Clock & Reclocker.
Hi-End Wirelessly Thanks to LINKPLAY, the Pro iDSD can stream audio over Wi-Fi and Ethernet networks. With built-in Spotify and Tidal support and compatibility with various audio protocols up to 32-bit/192 kHz and DSD64, the Pro iDSD can directly play online music.
Full Galvanic Isolation All inputs of the iDSD are galvanically isolated, including USB. To achieve maximum dynamic performance, the analog section uses ELNA Silmic capacitors. Super capacitors with low impedance are used in the digital section.
Pure Power To power the classic tube scheme, modern 21st-century technologies are used. Separate low-noise voltage regulators with local LC filtration provide low-noise power to all individual digital sections. The analog section operates efficiently on a 60V bus, providing substantial dynamic potential.
