The inverted dome TAM tweeter ensures extreme clarity and accuracy in the upper frequencies, along with high-quality sound for extended listening sessions. The speaker system's angled feet provide Time Alignment, centering the sound stage on the listener for a deeper and more emotional listening experience.
The Slatefiber technology, an exclusive Focal development from France, incorporates non-woven recycled carbon fibers sandwiched between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. Engineers at Focal aimed for perfection by utilizing unidirectional carbon fibers to achieve greater rigidity, improved damping, and lightweight construction - three key components of a good speaker system.
The tweeters are manufactured in France at Focal laboratories, featuring an inverted dome membrane made of an aluminum-magnesium alloy with the iconic "M" profile characteristic of Focal products. This profile adds rigidity to the tweeter, reducing distortion and providing a wider dispersion angle for more refined high frequencies.
The Vestia speaker systems are equipped with a forward-facing vent for enhanced frontal impact, as well as a rear vent for immersive bass - a bass reflex profile that enhances the depth of the sound stage.
