The TAM tweeter with inverted M-shaped dome ensures maximum clarity and accuracy of the upper frequencies, as well as high sound quality during long listening sessions. The midrange speaker, which also uses Slatefiber diaphragm, is responsible for the expressiveness and neutrality of the sound. The angled feet of the speaker system provide Time Alignment - centering the sound stage on the listener for even deeper and more emotional immersion in the sound.
Slatefiber technology - an exclusive development by Focal, created in France - involves the use of non-woven recycled carbon fibers placed between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. In their quest for perfection, Focal engineers decided to use non-woven unidirectional carbon fibers to achieve even greater rigidity, better damping, and at the same time, lightness - three key components of a good speaker system.
The tweeter is manufactured in France in Focal labs and consists of an inverted dome membrane made of an aluminum-magnesium alloy, with the famous "M" profile characteristic of Focal products. This profile gives the tweeter greater rigidity, reducing distortion, and providing a wider dispersion angle. Thanks to this, the high frequencies sound more refined.
The Vestia speaker systems are equipped with a vent in the front for greater frontal impact, as well as a vent in the back for all-encompassing bass - this is a bass reflex profile that enhances the depth of the sound stage.
It is recommended to use the Focal Vestia N4 speaker system in rooms of 25 m² or more; even more power and enveloping velvetiness of the bass can be achieved by connecting the SUB 600P subwoofer.
