804 D4
For listeners who prefer a more traditional aesthetic but want the sound quality of the Series 800 Diamond, the 804 D4 is the perfect choice. Its new reverse-wrap cabinet follows the design principles proven on larger models.
Reverse-wrap Cabinet
When it came to designing the perfect shape for the Series 800 Diamond cabinets, the engineers made a 180-degree turn. Literally. The cabinets are formed as a single continuous curve, supported by a spine of aluminum, improving sound dispersion and reducing internal reflections.
Aluminum Base
For a superb speaker, a strong foundation is needed. In the new 804 D4, the Flowport™ bass reflex port is directed downward through an aluminum base, with a damping layer and steel plate to suppress unwanted resonances. At the bottom, greatly improved spikes provide maximum stability.
