Description

The updated AT-LP5x turntable is the perfect balance of technology and design. Its elegant modern lines make it a stylish addition to any home, while its outstanding performance is backed by Audio-Technica's rich heritage in analog technologies.

The improved direct-drive DC motor operates with low noise levels and supports speeds of 33/45/78 RPM. The turntable comes equipped with the new AT-VM95E cartridge mounted on an AT-HS6 headshell. Changes have also been made to the power supply, which is now external.

The AT-LP5x features a built-in preamp, allowing for connection to a stereo system with either a line or phono input. It includes an aluminum platter and a thick damping mat, both housed in a single construction designed to reduce resonance from moving parts. The curved tonearm, specifically designed to minimize tracking errors, pays homage to Audio-Technica's design from the 1960s and 1970s, complementing the clean lines of modern style.
